I begin with white cotton muslin.  A blank canvas.  On this canvas, I apply my dyes and do my magic.  The results are colorful semi-solids and abstract works of art.  Some are bright and clear.  Others are dark and muted.  And there are often many that fall in between or in both categories. 

My works of art then become the color palettes for fiber artists who cut, tear, pick, and choose just the right sizes, shapes, and colors for their work.
